Fabricated
and used in a professional manner, the equipment now is
completely dependable. In principle, it's not the
equipment you should be wary of, but the people who use
it. Unfortunately some organisations only research the
economic perfomance, therefore they dont always offer the
security precaution that are normally practiced. In
Switzerland there are no existing laws or rules concerning
the practice of Bungee Jumping, so it's recommended to
trust only those organisations that have proven themselfes.

The
Jump
For your first jump, you will be attached
at the ankles, the best way to avoid contact with the
elastic during the fall. You will be equiped with a
harness, which will also be attached to the elastic, for
extra security. Once you have gained a little experience
you can be attached at the waist, this gives you more
freedom to figurins and flips. It's also possible to be
attached by the back, in a backward harness.
In no case will you be pushed, so it's up to take the
initiative to jump, and there lies the difficulty: it
takes courage to throw yourself. Someone else recounting
their bungee-jumping experience could be encouraging.
And here it goes, ouaaaahhh, a guaranteed adrenaline rush,
extreme sensations, and even more unique sensations on the
rebound. Your first jump you do 75% of the potential
distance. When you find yourself hanging in thin air,
feelings of being completely over taken will leave an
everlasting impression. One way of another to the
plataform from which you jumped, or to the level of the
winch. It's worth the trouble to put yourself in the
upright position with help from the strap attached to the
ventrale security strap.
